Hello I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but ,I have ultrahal 6.2 and I was wondering if there is an easy way for a newbie like me to get hal to check my email accounts and announce when new email arrives? I am not a programmer so I guess im looking for a plugin or step by step instructions to get hal to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Im new to hal so if this has been asked before , please bear with me. I was wondering how I could get hal to check my e-mail for me, where would I enter the command for hal to check the headers in my e-mail or can hal to this?
So if I asked hal if there is anything new in my e-mail, he could check the headers and read them back to me.
Is there some where I can enter the information. So hal can do this?

I am new at this so please bear with me , I would like to have hal open and read my e-mail at www.Hotmail.com, how do I program him to open and read e-mail headers back to me.
Also I would like to program how to read my local weather forecasts in Canada.

Hello I have been playing around with hal 6.2 a bit and i have tried to get hal to open a program on my computer and he tells me it is not in his database.
my question is how do you enter a program into his database that he does not know so he can access it and run it for me
also if i get hal to scan a document and read it can he recall information about it ?
does he learn from just reading text?
I am using hal 6.2 with dragon 11 natural speaking which really inproved the his understanding

Hello I have downloaded and installed ultrahal 6.2 and I am running it on winxp.
I have some questions like ,
how do i enter programs that i want to run in hals database?
and when i ask hal to open or run internet it opens explorer with addons disabled?
i tried to get hal to open opera and it opened opera with addons disabled.
last how can i correct a entry in hal for example when i first said OPEN THE INTERNET he repeats shal i open internet bobs internet explorer instead of just open internet and when i say yes he does nothing
where or how do i make corrections?
