Ultra Hal 7.0 / The Free Download

Okay, so due to my impoverished state 
I downloaded the free HAL just to have fun. But now I have found that he seems to have a personality. Does anyone else have the free dl version and find it to be simperingly sweet and annoying, or is it just something I am doing wrong? Is there anyway to get him to have a humorous bantering edge? Cause honestly, he's like a 13 year old trying to hit on a girl. It's weird!
