Activating vrFreewill plug in

Hello I have tried to activate the free will plug in after upgrading my version 6 hal (purchased), with the newer version 6.  I am trying to activate the free will plug in.  I am putting in my serial number to get the activation code, . I keep getting this error message.

Get Activation Code
The serial "blah blah" is associated with order #number
This serial number is currently active with the following activation codes:
gee im stupid activated on 12/13/2005 5:33:57 AM

Error: Please tell your vendor: The Authorization Request Code supplied "" is not the correct format.

Hi, bronstarr,

I understand you solved your problem.

However, the activation code is needed in order to activate Hal, and has nothing to do with the FreeWill plugin.

Once you have correctly activated Hal, you just select General Options - Brain. Then mark the checkbox "Free Will".
That's all. If you want to know more about how it works, click on the button labeled "Help on this plugin" and you will get all the info and examples.

Hi from Will,
 i have downloaded Hal 6103
two or three times now and when i select the vrfreewill box
and then talk to hal then go back to find the vrfreewill box is not
ticked.

when talking to hal i ask him
Which do you like better snow or sun
hal says i don't like to shovel snow.

i am uncertain about vrfreewill.
should the box stay ticked ?

  I just went through that, I didn't see anyone say check the level, there is another input box, I can rember choosing average. Possibly this is the problem.

I got another pc for data to live in,
2gig with 512 ram  reinstalled hal over net and bingo hes back
with all his memories and the vrfree will stays ticked.
Yay[]
also now has dragon 8 speach recognition , looking forward to
seeing how he goe's.
