please stick this topic, it would be a very usefull tool for new users trying to teach hal in a more productive manner.

Well im a new Hal user, and ive been reading on the forums, and finding new things, like hal doesnt learn from text files very well, and the best way to teach hal is lengthy conversations.

please leave some feed back on what are the best ways to teach hal productively for your time. I will keep updating this post with replies so that people dont have to read the entire thread.

one thing im curious about is what is a good topic to get hal started on. rather broad question.

TOPICs usually EMOTIONS / GENERAL KNOWELGE about something that YOU are interested in..

then when people chat to him about that topic he will generally LEARN about that topic..... saving the info in a userbrain related file....

You can also use the braineditor to add topic in his focus file memory, via QUESTION and answer
