Speech Breaking Up

I noticed the same problem with Hal's speech breaking up. I am using Windows XP Pro Sp2, on a Celeron 2.4Ghz machine and using 1.00 GB of
ram. I uninstalled Hal and do a system clean up. The I reinstalled Hal. Hopefully the problem will not return.

High CPU usage seems to mess up the sound.
