I was wondering if it is possible to merge Hal's Brain with Encarta.
Say you ask a question and Hal could ask encarta to research it and present the information to you. Hal would query encarta research the question disconnect from encarta and present the information to you

i think someone made something similar for wiki,  never found or used it myself,  If it doesn't exist already,  Im sure a plug in can be written for it.

Hal already uses WORDNET which will give you the definition of any word.

I think OTCE wrote a plug for some other kind of search. If I don't get back soon hopefully someone else will.
