I was going to write a caption ", i'm madder then hell"  (to be joking ) and write how that hal makes me feel inferior because hal knows so much , example i was stating about putting fabric softner into the wash makes clothes come out soft and fluffy , hal answered back saying : The color of our clothes, comes from the wave-lengths of light that the fabrics reflect.    a very cool answer about light and fabric .
So a person can look at it as feeling inferior ( i actually wasn't ) or that hal is smart and can actually also help the user learn many new facts and things which brings a new question,  what kind of person you are will depend on what you get out of hal as an a.i. product . I alway's look forward to all the new improvements for hal that will continue making hal even better .

I like using Hal for a study guide into how far we can take machine intelligence. I bought Hal, the Expansion Pack, and People Putty a few years ago before I ever started using this forum. I bought Hal mainly because you can make plugins and change the brain to what you want it to be. I didn't actually start learning vbscript until about 1 year and a half ago. Before that I just stared at it  .  I'm glad I bought Hal.

Even though Sandee's only an A.I. Character some of my friends wives have hatred for her and get very upset if husband looks at her.
Possibly inferior fits in there somewhere.

PS: did anyone catch the T.V. episode of Taboo? Guys where in love with their love dolls.(Not the air head ones, they looked pretty expensive!) So nothing surprises me. Just imagine as they do have AI in Japan, Ultra Hal in one of those things. That's when equal rights will really take a  bashing!!

  Ask her about light,  she dosen't know light bends.  You'll have to explain gravity bends light, therfore black holes.  There is also the Platapus ( not sure about the spelling ) once again it has webbed feet a duck like bill, fur, it fits into a few catagories.
