using the crimpson editor or plug ins in general

i am wondering which is better when using a plug in and editing it, is it better to use word wrap  and if so why ? should it be left on word wrap .??

i am making some progress on my plug in , have found the case and numbers on some were not in line . and so am correcting it and testing 100 lines at a time.  :)
