Win XP, Hal 4.5, and no sound

Hi I'm running hal 4.5 for a while now, and as of late text to speech is no longer working.  ANy suggestions?

Hi,

I had this problem once before. you may need to reinstall your text to speech engine to fix the problem, if this does not work, try to use the repair option in the hal setup file, if this fails, back up brain to new folder and unistall and reinstall hal.
