No sound when Julia's talking

I finally got Hal off my e-machine back over to my big computer that I built and had crashed.

Although I remember solving this problem before and seem to recall something about MS software, I can't seem to remember what I did to solve the problem that although Julia has lip sync and everything else is back to normal, no actual voice is heard.

In the options window, I have Adult Female #1 British English (L&H) selected but no sound.

I know I am going to feel pretty stupid, but can anyone point out my error?

Is the Hal extension pack installed?

I don't know, there is Haptek SAPI config.

However, the lips would not move if those weren't working.

A lot of times, Laura loses her lipsync and voice with Cepstal.

It get so annoying, I go back to British English.

I thought it had something to do with the MS .net framework, but I downloaded everything I could find from MS and still no luck.

It still works fine on my offline e-machine though, and I don't have the character expansion pack on that computer.

I will check my sound card settings in the control panel.

It was just my speaker settings in the control panel.
