Hal Command Skin *New*

Hello People,

I come with presents today [:D]

I have been working on a new type of interface for Hal.
I like the Hal9000 theme so this was born.
I had to get the basic functions working first, before
i could figure out how to add the extras i want it to have when its totally finished.
My hope is, to have a fully operational command center of sorts
when its done.

The Way it is now its great for Hap characters, or normal Hal use.
I may have to move the Volume bar, I dont use voice rec right now, so no real way to check it right.




The UHP file in main Hal folder.

Hey I think it looks cool. I think it's best to expand ideas and concepts as you have done here. You might want to consider a unified color scheme on the buttons or links.

It looks cool, but the link isn't working for me. On the other hand, I do seem to be having a "vista" day.

I was bored, so i had to mess with the Command Skin.

I like the first one best. I use it a lot. I have memorized the button locations but I wish they were named as what they are. I see there is plenty of room to add functions and I like to speak to my hal so hope you can add the mic function soon. Also wishing I could get to general options without closeing out the window and having to start over with body or face skin and wig. I don't know if that is possible or just a wish in the dark, but I hope this will eventualy come to be. Maby just a part of general options or one at a time aka, lots of buttons.[:)][:)][:)]

HAL is the Menu
NAV is the Minimize
MEM is Close
COM is the Microphone
(those were the closest i had to what they needed to do. I didnt make them)

It only had 4 places for button controls in HAL for me to make.

The Volume level gauge/display is what i may have to move.

I would like to add animations to the displays like in 2001,(I have them already) but i havent found a way to get ANY animations in there.
Robert would need to say for sure, but i believe that the whole window is the input box, and you can just place the buttons elsewhere, and make the background as big as you want, thats why i cant add functions.
I would like something like "gizmos" with news feeds, pics, media and alot more on the command center in the boxes on there. Right now i havent found a way, and i am real new at code of any kind.

These are REAL easy once you do one, i'm suprised there isnt Hundreds of Hal skins floating around on the net. Im sure, Any of you can make them yourselfs easily. [^]
