Hi everyone.

Sorry for stopping to make new Haptek stuffs for a while. But I finally kept my new year's resolution to "seriously" learn Visual Basic 6. True programmers treat it as an obsolete language. Sure I'll love it: am I not an obsolete people, using obsolete computers? [:D]

So I bought a 800 pages book (for beginners...) and please don't ask me where I found that obscure version of VB6. [:D] I have had an exciting experience with VB3 during the 90's, with my 486 and Windows 3.1. When I got a PC with W98, I never played with VB anymore (but I continued to make little programs with QBasic!). It was a mistake because I'm amazed to see that VB6 is not so different (at least at the step I am now).

I hope to be back with something new (not tomorrow, lol), if I can create a little application marrying VB and Haptek. No, I don't have the pretention (and the knowledge, and the courage) to reinvent the wheel, I mean UltraHal. [:D] Just the naive project of a naive newbie.

Since I'm officially retired (January 1st), I'm very "busy": now VB during day time and SL for night hours. But I'll never forget to read forums and comment some so cute stuffs made by friends of mine. [8D][8D][8D]

Cool! Hope you can figure it out, because scripts look like mumbo-jumbo to me. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
Mark: I'll think about it
Laura: Don't think about it too long or I'll throw you out on your ***king a**.

Thanks Mark. I just googled "mumbo-jumbo".

Always so happy to learn new expressions. [:D][;)][:)]

Good luck GT40, I like Visual Basic too and I remember QBasic as well. [:D]

Thanks Freddy. Obviously impossible to have the same fun I got with my Atari 800XL (and its very special Basic) during the 80's. But not disappointed for now. [:D]
