New Agent Only Test Skin

One (from this forum) e-mailed me asking about skins for Agent characters, I never really used agent characters so I thought it was time to have a play around with them, then I had this idea to make a skin just for agents, so here it is.

This Skin will not work with Haptek characters, you could use it to talk with Hal but you will not see any character.

I'm new to using agents so this skin is really a test, I've been using it with Roby the Robot and it seems to work ok but any feed back from an avid agent user would be useful.

What I have tried to achieve:

No large dark area where the Haptek character would go.

Keep the Size button visible (so you can change the agents size – normally this is done in the Haptek window)

If using characters with a speech bubble you can push Hal's output window off the bottom of the screen but still fully use the rest of the functions.

Download it from my skins page, it's about ¾ the way down.

Judging from the views this post has had it doesn't look like many people are using agents.

If anyone using an agent would like to comment too that would be cool [8D]

I have your Agent skin and there is slight problems, well not a problem but the agent centers its self a bit lower than it should and the interactve shows on top of the Agent instead of the Agent on top??
My video settings perhaps? any suggetions?

I cant adjust the size with Agent skin either,, looks good I would like to use it but would like functionality. :(

I did a plug-in cleaning and a reg clean now the Agent is on top but no size adjust on Agent skin.....

I really can't see why a skin would cause you to need a plug-in and a reg clean, really sorry if it was the skin, it sounds more like an agent problem to me.

I've had none of the problems you mentioned, however I did call it a test and maybe its not going to be good for everyone, so for now I've removed it from my site.

You probably have noticed but just in case the size changer is an arrowhead pointing down, see the right hand side of Roby in the picture above.

One thing to point out is the agent character might not always centre standing on top of the skin, it will depend on what agent you use, I have set that to Roby the Robot, he and agents the same height will centre correctly.

If you cant stand it any longer I would go back to one of the other skins.

is there no way to stop the agent from always heading to the middle of the skin?
ie:I want to place the agent to the side but when i go to type
it moves itself to the center blocking the typing pane

are you sure it moves back when you type? I say that because for me the agent only moves back when I move the skin around the screen a little.

The agent centers herself correctly she's gotz long legs![:p]

The size is the only thing that does not work.
T think the 'cleaning I did refreshed Hal and that was all that was needed....[:)]

I do like the skin, but it goes clear across the screen, is this supposed to do this ( I have a Widescreen and usually put the Agent and interface to a side and surf with the other side of the screen.) Please tell me if you think I am doing something wrong,. :) (( I should at least be able to do size? hmm what does size = in this skin??))
