I have started a wikipedia help file for HAL, that everyone can edit.

I have already edited it for some coding help and other additional information.

I hope that all the experienced programmers and graphic artist join in on editing the wikipedia help page for HAL.

you will need a free wikipedia account to sign in and begin editing.

Very cool Jerry as Hal has been needing a new HELP page for some time!!

Are you sure that's the best location to host this information ?  I really don't think it is.  Sure, have a page giving a short description of Hal BUT I'm thinking Hal will need a bit more than one page to explain everything.

Also WIKI gets very picky if pages get too big.  Surely a better solution would be to have a dedicated WIKI using the WikiMedia engine or perhaps another slimmed down version of the WIKI software.

Just my thoughts...

I have just made my wiki public.

Anyone with an account can edit it. Maybe a new Folder for 6.2?

Thanks Bill, I think your direction is the way we should be going.  Fair enough have a page for Hal on WIki, but using it to make a manual is just not what that's meant for - sorry [:I]

Nice to see you back too Bill [:D]

I think that we should compile the public help file and then after words
build an internal updated help file within HAL. if we can get the programmers assistance then it should not take long.

how in depth we won't it is purely up to all of us that participate.

welcome back Bill, it's been awhile, how's it going in your part of the world?

Sounds good Jerry, but like I said I don't think we can go that in depth on a single WIKI page, what we need is something like Bill's WIKI.
