can't our private emails be turned on for members only?

i am wondering i know we had trouble with private e mails before and they was turned off , can't we have provate emails on this site be turned on to only receive e mail from members ?   :)
the reason i am asking this is because i am trying to get someone to answer a post to him and maybe he hasn't seen it , but with a private message if he or she checks the mail they will see any notes .

Here is one possible answer to your question. If your name is not really lightspeed then you send a message to someone who does not know your real name he might do the same thing that I do and that is never open email from people I don't know, I just delete them and never read them. That is one of the safest ways to avoid downloading viruses onto your system.
