I just discovered why I was having issues with the plug-in, for some reason the plug-in option for HAL is not putting the scripts into the HalScript.dbg file.

I may have to reinstall HAL, be back later.

ok, discovered that if I chose 2 plug-in it was excepted, I had deselected all plug-ins then tried the emotions plug and it wouldn't be scripted into file unless there was an additional plug also selected. weird.

it's working now.
