Hair again

I opened fullbodygirl.htr in notepad to see if it referenced hair.htr.

It did. But I changed the hair from 5_9 to 6_2

but it would not open.  

It froze up.

Luckily, I have dupes of the original.

Did I do something wrong, or miss some steps?? I wanna learn, but only a little at a time.

Well, I'm learning. I added the hair command

delperson[figure= hair5_9EXP]
load [file= data/standard/skins/hair6_2EXP.htr]]
settexture [tex= data/standard/skins/blklngr.jpg]]

to sad.hap

I tell lois I love her, then respond again, lois becomes sad, she becomes a brunette!! And her clothes change.

It's not much, but a start.

Hello.
From what I have been reading here, you would have to change most of the hair and texture refferences in the standard hap file in the player. Just to get your girl looking like you want most of the time, WITHOUT using PeoplePutty. I guess PeoplePutty would make the changes neccessary in only the custom .haptar output file to were you would NOT have to resort to hacking the default files.
