Fatal Error

I just finished installing HAL.  When I choose the "gerneral options" I get a fatal Windows XP error about hte program encountered a problem and do I want to report it to Microsoft.

Anybody ever seen this before?

i haven't seen anything like that myself, do you have all windows updates installed , maybe it's something to do with that i don't know, or maybe some other program is conflicting with hal?

It appears the conflict is with Cyber Buddy.  I had made the assumption you could merge a Cyber Buddy Character with HAL's smarts but it looks like this is not true.

Anybody have a thought?
