When Hal starts insted of using my name Hal will say "left bracket right bracket :" and then say her name the date and time. However, when I check the startup section in options and click the update button Hal will say the greeting as writen. What is the problem?

I even updated Hal to 6.1 and I still have the same problem.

The word "bracket" may be a clue, the "Say this" line should have a part that says "<username>" with greater than and less than marks, not brackets[] or braces{}
