HAL the Stock Broker, Buy! Buy! Buy!

Hi everyone.
Can anyone write a script that would allow Hal to follow the stock market quotes? to make this more interesting, Lets give Hal the ability to warn us of rises or falls in a stocks share and advise to buy or sell. Sounds hard, but can we do it? Can Hal make us all rich beyond our wildest dreams?
Can anyone write a script for this?

Well it only took six years for Jerry to get a reply...must be some kind of record.

Maybe Hal should run the economy; at the level he is now he would do a much better job than some of the bankers [:(!]

As soon as I get my new hard-drive and set it up I will begin coding the Stock Tracker Plug-in.

I have a stock feed that is pretty stable and easy to retrieve stock prices.
