Interesting. My magnifier doesn't seem to work like that, and I guess I don't have "flip". I do have Windows 7 home premium.

I have windows 7 home premium as well, So you should have these features.
hold down windows key and tab to bring up flip3D
for the magnifier,
you have to set up your magnifier to make it have that viewport. the settings can be viewed in the video.
I will make a tutorial about how to get Hal to utilize these features soon.
