laguage question

I read in the forums that the language to use is VB. I seen in the library today, books on visual basic 6.0, and VB.Net only. Which one of the two would I use to creating or extend plug-ins?, or are they both the wrong language needed? any light on the subject would be greatly appreciated thanks sincerely Sybershot.

The scripting used was visual basic script, I believe this is different from visual basic. Robert M. had put a post in saying he was going to a later version, similar but allowed more capabilities, you'd have to look in search to find out what it was.
 I believe this is what you are refering to to do scripting for Hal.
