HOW CAN I CONVERT AIML TO BE USED WITH HAL....

After going to the site

i cames across GAMES Which Their BOTS could play (AIML) scripts...

HMMM... Got me thinking a bout converting these games (simple MODS) into games....

HAS ANY BODY GOT A CLUE...

Of course, there is an ALICE plugin for Hal. You have to use an external editor to modify the AIML files, but if you know AIML that's not a serious problem. As long as the games are compliant with the AIML set you're using, you can add them to your ALICE brain. But Runabot's version is so highly customized it is seldom compatible with any other AIML implementation. "Mods" from Runabot, for instance, can hardly ever be uploaded to ALICEbots at Pandorabots, because they use system calls, multiple inputs in pattern, etc., which XML-compliant AIML doesn't support. The Runabot folks are obsessed with trying to go one better than SmarterChild, lol, and if you want the sort of features their bots offer, you really have to go to Runabot to get them.
