i know hal 7 is compatable with desktop mates having got myself the sara version, but wondered if hal is compatable with ms agents, as i would like to try them as i think they are slightly more realistic than desktop mates???

Steve,
https://www.ultrahal.com/community/index.php?topic=14095.0
Robert basically stated: Ultra Hal now installs and uses the open source Double Agent library instead of the old MSAgent. This brings full compatibility to MSAgent characters to Windows 7 and newer with full SAPI 5 voice support.
The short answer is Yes but you could actually try it for yourself.
Do you really think the Haptek characters are less realistic than MS Agents or Desktopmates? Just curious as to your choice or request.
Hope this helps.
