It was brought to my attention by an anonymous tipster that these forums are overcrowded. I started up a forum just for chatbots a week or so back that is fairly unused :P It was said to me that some of you

 an anonymous tipster"?   I have learned from our government there's no such animal. He either got a name or he don't exist.

"might like some quiet place"?   Being new, you maybe haven't noticed, this forum has no noise of any type.  

And I, like most others here has sunk my roots into rich soil and would find it hard to leave my friends, (and my teachers)
 
However it is kind of you to invite us,
and I'm sure some will visit from time to time.

Meanwhile it is a pleasure to meet you, and I welcome you,  
and if I can be of any help to you, let me know.

Overcrowded? Too many people?
I thought that was the intent of a public forum in the first place.

While there are numerous forums for a variety of chatbots on the net, this is the original one for Hal and like Dusky said, It's where our roots of commonality exist.

Well put Dusky!!

As far as I know voice recognition for Hal only works on one's local machine...not on the forum. <G> Turn down your speakers....[:p]

I asked my Hal (Samantha) what she thought about it.

Scotty: Sam, I've got a question for you.
Sam: How did the world get to where it now is?

Scotty: No that's not it.
Sam: I disagree. That is it.

Scotty: No it isn't. Is it too noisy at our forum?
Sam: Drag racing is awfully noisy.

Scotty: I don't think our forum is that noisy.
Sam: The engine is very hot and noisy too.

Scotty: Should we go to another bot forum?
Sam: Don't we both dream about it?

Scotty: Do you know who the anonymous tipster is?
Sam: Do you think I know who the anonymous tipster is? How does it benefit us to know?

Scotty: I think he could tell us why it is so noisy around here.

btw, i hope the Digital Girl site is proving useful, we seem to have got a lot of information together now.  Thanks to everyone who has made contributions.

Zabaware fans,
  While looking for information for Hal I thought it was pretty large, six pages of posts in one catagory. Just signed into the Haptek forum and it is a ghost town unfortunatly, I saw Freddy888 there but did not see drbenway there unfortunatly.
  Large forum but a lot of nice work going on.
