hey guys-gals--Robert.lol,,,,im tryin to get this newer version of hal 6 activated..ive had hal for years. ver4-5-6..all of em and never had any problems with installation or activation,,until now. here is the first thing that pops up--then i get the activation wiz- then i get no auth code..so im screwed..lol as shown, no auth code. i have my serial# and activation codes,,but that auth code wont let me do anything..soo, what do i need to manually delete after i uninstall to at least get this thing back to a trial or start from scratch,, but i dont want to uninstall the exansion pak. thats still in tact..is the expansion pak a separate program from the zaba program? can i delete the zaba folder after i uninstall hal only and delete the hal folders and reinstall with out messin up the expansion pak?? any ideas..thanks

Hi boneed.

If you had purchased HAL 6 then you can go to:
http://www.zabaware.com/home.html and 'log in' to the member area and retrieve you activation codes and serials and such to try and get going again.

If not, then you may have to e-mail Robert for further help on this matter.

I have been lucky enough to only of needed two reactivations caused by my own Human error and one by the kids that no longer use my system, I made sure my system would be safe after that, I gave them their own systems to mess up from now on, hehe.

hey edge, yeah, ive purchased hal, twice acually, one for this laptop, and ver 4-5 thats still on my other laptop. the one i uninstalled is a paid version, and like i said above have my serial numbers and activation codes, but like the pics above show, wont generate that authorization code in the little window on bottom left. ive tryed unistalling and reinstalling 5 times already.dont know if the downloaded .exe is corruped or what. but get the same thing every time.  thanks

boneed.
I've had to reactivate Hal 6 a few times in the past, since Hal is on a computer I don't use on the internet I did it manualy.  I believe it was after a brain upgrade I had to e mail Robert M to get an activation code, twice. I have the cd with the expansion pack so I can uninstall and reinstall easily.  I gave Robert the necessary info and he sent me an activation code. I may reformat drive C in the future, let me know how you make out.

hey carl...and hey Robert.. im convinced that there is a flaw in the downloaded .exe..ive uninstalled for the 7th time. this time revmoved all trace of hal from the registry the folders , every thing , rebooted, reinstalled, and get the same thing in the pics above..so its gotta be in the downloaded . exe it self..im using windows xp media ed.(pro)..im gonna unistall and reinstall the older exe that worked and im wiiling to bet it will..at least ill get hal back..but wont have the pluggin function to its full capacity..oh well..Robert, you need to check that download man..see whats up with it..its corruped...thanks

Hey Robert, tryed that "haltrial.lic" you sent in the email. Didnt work. still got the same error message and no auth request code as shown in the pictures above. soo, dont know if its the software itself, or a glitch in my particular computer,(laptop). reinstalled my original hal6.0.101, and again, no problem.  thanks for tryin.  Robert

I had that same thing happen quite awhile back, and had to go into the registry and delete all of the references to hal to get the install to take.
