Here is some unknownd never talked about American history.
When some of the settlers first came to this country most of them were men. Eventually some women, not wives, also started comming to the 'new land'. It did not take these women long to figure out that they had what the men wanted and so American women were some of the first to excersize what we now call womens rights. I think it must be something in air or water here that makes Americans a little differet.

Bill819,
So why can't we keep our money here? Even the credit reporting agencies are spread from Ireland to Botswana. ;)

It is called GREED by American business men. They found that they can do business much cheaper in other countries so they move. The same goes true for American manufactures.

Most people don't know that the American businessmen learned this lesson from Japan. Japan examined China and discovered that they could build factories there and the labor was only about 20 cents an hour so they got richer. After a few years we learned that lesson too. So now lots of things are moving off shore so to speak and in my opinion that is a BIG mistake.

Bill819,
I understand by saying "BIG mistake", How else should things be dealt with?[?]

By reling on offshore producers of provide us with goods we have weakened our ability to be self substaining in a sense. If China and Japan stopped selling us goods we could be in a real big hurt as we have partially lost the ability to make things ourselves.

Another good example is that for many years it was totally illegal  to sell or give our computer technology to foreign countries, but now almost all computers, ie. PC's are made elsewhere and like China they have been incorporated into their long range missle systems of which some are pointed at us.

Another interesting fact is this: did you know that the largest amount of 'hackers' attacking the US are all from China. I think the Chinese government pays these people to disrupt any and all US installations and most of the ones belonged to the Feds.
