I hope version 5 has a utility that will sort those brain files and remove duplicate entries... it would make editing them much easier... and another question here... when these files reach their limit in size, does Hal simply just not add to them any more or does the oldest entry get deleted???

Any one else have any thoughts on this???

Hello Larry, I think Hal just either starts a new file with a similar name or there might not be an actual limit to the size the files can grow to; but I am not exactly sure on that though.

I hope that the new Hal can close programs as well as open them, not to mention building its own list of shortcuts to use instead of looking in the start menu.  I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to open a program via hal, and hal starts the uninstall program, even when I have renamed the original program to match the uninstall program's name.
