Have to run ultra hal in Compatibility Mode

To get ultra hal to work correctly in windows xp
I have to use Compatibility Mode: Windows 2000

Is there someone here more than me that have this problem?
or someone that have a good idea how to fix this.

I'm having some trouble with customizing Hal but he works fine in normal mode with windows xp home edition on my notebook.
hope this helps.

Maybe you can tell us where hal gets stuck??

hal does not show show it self.
if I not use that mode.

one other person commented on this same problem, he had an international version of XP. I suspect it has something to do with non US versions of XP
