HalScript Error -2147217375

First like to say, Hal is so cool :)
I am trying to get one of onthecuttingedge2005's script to work on windows 7, did anyone get this script working on windows 7 yet?. The script can be found below in the link. Can onthecuttingedge2005 or someone else tell me about this HalScript Error -2147217375 that I get, and what it actually is. maybe some friends of mine might then be able to assist me to get this to work. Thanks

welcome aboard,
I tried extensively to get that to work on vista, but failed at all attempts.
I not good at vb, and OTCE does not have vista or windows 7 to test on.
or at least didn't at that time.
I don't know for sure, but I think the error is a os  permission violation error
Robert or one of our great plug-in builders here might be able to confirm
If your friend can get this to work, please share for this would be a great addition for our Hals :)
