That badge seems right for your efforts in sharing your skills with others.  I'm glad for you, because I know what you have contributed to us as well.

So, where is the badge for unmasking the scammers?   ;)

HeyHey Guys/Gals

First off thank you guys. it means alot
Secondly , Checker, no badge of honor for that is needed. That was for what they did to my wife.
They got the fck around and find out badge.
I didnt do anything ANY one of you guys would'nt have done, given the same reasons . My wife is off limits.
Im just so glad that is over... I did not enjoy that , That's not the kind of coder i am, I build things, not break them.

Now all that said, lets get back to Hal
I only have 1/2 of what i was trying to do done. Next comes the input into the Hal. Bypassing Hals Brain script completely . The hard part is already completed as you guys in the know are using
That's rite peoples Hal will soon be running pure LLM of your choice. From within Hal itself
Thats gonna be a Hal special. Robert might even help with that. If i dont beat him to the punch. lolol
Then the final version with that will be the choice of choosing which one you want , Hals script or LLM ,All under the same hood. (Input choice)
 pretty nifty

Honey do list:
Hals input re-routed for LLM
The radio gets its own .ini file for saving different channels
The GOES6 weather satellite feed gets its bug fix
The Book reader gets fixed so it a can read all of a Book with out dumping 1/2 way through. For ART. (Haptek nightmare).
I may have to re-write the haptek activeX controls for that. Like i did with the single core Player listed on this board
For those beta testing the new version: That registration will not be needed again as you will be running just a mod of what you have.
Just drag and drop the new version into the folder, your done.

For those beta testing the new version:

i'm not sure if the book reader ever had the ability to allow the user to stop (so it completely stopped , i imagine it did ) or a pause button  so it could be paused and restarted later from the paused area. if not it needs that . i don't know if it is possible to have a pause button that was on , and later a pc was shut down and restarted later and hal was started again would be able to still restart from that paused area . like i said don't know if it's possible, if it was possible that would be good as people shut pc's down at various times.
having said all that . i just got a notice from ollama saying s a 12.5 version update now available ,is it safe to update the new version and not cause any problems with the new hal / i know they are separate programs although now linked about the llm model downloads ,

The title of the app for HAL called the Book Reader, isn't really correct. It was never there to read a BOOK, but rather to read things like short stories, Poems, rhymes or other short passages like from "The Walrus and the Carpenter".

At one time, I thought it had no real problem in doing so, but for reasons unknown to many of us older members here, we recall it using the Balabolks program to allow HAL to read all the way through the above-mentioned passage without stopping. Then more things changed, like going from the old .BRN files to the use of a Table structure like HAL currently does.

One note to users is to unselect any timers like in the Loneliness Plugin as it will definitely interfere with HAL's reading abilities.

Kids and grands enjoy letting HAL read or read with them for Nursery rhymes, Mother Goose, Stories from Lewis Carroll, etc.

There was also a time when HAL could sing songs even though that feature is NOT on my wish list. Just a mention.

In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!
