Get the figure runnning in the Hap Player and take a look in the Haptek program folder OR the User Applications Folder. Look for the
hap_temp folder, if you can't find it then do a file search (whilst the Hap Player is running).
When you find this folder take a look inside and copy any jpg's onto the desktop or somewhere safe (hap_temp auto deletes itself when the player shuts down). With luck one of those will be the skin for the character. Recolour it and you can drag and drop it onto your character to replace the startup skin with your new skin.
Not all haptek characters will show the textures as jpg files, some are under a different format, but I think it works for those characters. If not then at least you learnt a new trick [
